Happy hump day!
It's sketch time again at PWCO - play along with at least two of our challenges this month (no excuses - you've got until the 30th to play!), and you'll be entered to win YOUR CHOICE of TWO PWCO Rubber Stamps OR November's PaperCard Kit!!!
Here's my take on it:
Magical Christmas stamp.
I hope you're all having a wonderful start to your Novembers - we haven't had any snow yet... but they keep threatening us with it for the weekend!

PWCO New Release!!!!
It's time, it's time!!!
Welcome to the PWCO New Release Blog Hop! Today, we are releasing TWO NEW CRITTER SETS (plus two sentiment sets to match)! Woohoo!!!
If you've come here from Alice's Blog, you're on the right track; if you've just stopped in here, you'll want to head back to the PWCO Blog to see what the fuss is all about!
Alright, ready for some projects?! Here we go!

Alright, ready for some projects?! Here we go!
First up, here's Dillion the Duck - and a matching sentiment! Both new sets also have a full sentiment set available to accompany them, and they are just great! A few people I know have all had baby boys recently, so I've been in serious need of appropriate cards - Dillion made that super quick & easy to accomplish!
I can't really explain why the next 3 cards are all sideways. I edited them so they are right-side-up, but when I upload them here, they show up sideways. Just go with it. (lol)
Anyway, this one uses Foxy the Fox - and I love her! She took me FOREVER to colour, because I wanted her fur to look just right. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out in the end... and I thought she had so much detail, it would be nice to really feature her front & centre on a card!
Here, we have Patti the Pig! One of her full matching sentiments is "Sending You Hogs & Kisses", but for this card, I only inked up the Hogs & Kisses part.... it just fit my layout better!
And last, but certainly not least, we've got Orest the Owl! There's some major dimension on this card - Orest is actually sitting on a double-layer of pop-dots, just so I could get his feet over top of the button! (lol)
That's all from me today - make sure you head over to see what Bella has in store for you!
Also, make sure you hop along to all the blogs - we've all got a letter for you, and when combined in order, it'll get you a 10% discount on ALL PWCO Stamps (and when you combine that with the 10% off you already get when you buy the bundle sets, that's 20% off on all the new release stamps!)
My letter for you is:
"R"
Alrighty, have yourselves a great day - and have a wonderful Halloween!!!

PWCO Super Sketch #104!
Happy hump day!!
It's time for this week's sketch at PaperWorks Co and it's a really versatile one! I kept it super simple though... 'cause I can.
It's another super pink one... but when you have a little girl, pink cards are always needed! (lol) I used my favourite Zoie the Zebra again, and a PWCO Sentiment from THIS SET. A little PTI Funky Town patterned paper, some Raspberry Fizz and Stamper's Select White cardstock... a touch of a T1 Copic marker... and TADA! Done.
Have a great day!

Super Sketch Wednesday - #103!
Happy hump day, everybody!
It's time for another sketch at PWCO and this week, things are spinning! The sketch has gone round, and here's my take on it:
Yet another un-coloured image - this time, I just stamped in some pink ink & added some pink Stickles to Zoie's mane & tail. For the record, the Stickles really aren't that obnoxious in real life, and truly match the pinks of the card much better. The circle base was made using PTI's Raspberry Fizz cardstock & Spellbinder's Nestie circles... had to run the folded card through the CuttleBug once, then flip the die over to the back of the card & cut again. Used more of my favourite Hobby Lobby animal print paper. Added some PTI Raspberry Fizz buttons, a PTI sentiment & used a tiny circle punch in place of a ticket corner punch. (Yay for improvisation!)
I'm being informed that it's time for 'Roni Cheese' now... so I'm off to the kitchen. Going to add some cottage cheese today.... nothing like a little extra calcium! (And really - can you go wrong with adding MORE cheese?!)

PWCO Sketch #102!
Hiya!
Yeah, so the mojo's still mostly M.I.A.... but oh well. Such is life. I still can't stand the smell of my Copics (boo-urns. WTF is up with that?!) so there's been a whole lot of no colouring going on in these parts....
Like this:
Um, yeah. Just smile and nod, folks, just smile and nod. Here's hoping now that I've officially entered the second trimester, my mojo will return...'cause this is pathetic.
At least the image is cute - that's from the Little Loud Stamps 'Christmas Freckle Collection' - it's "Jacob and the Reindeer", and it's on clearance in the PWCO Shop for a whole whopping $3.50!
And you can find Sketch #102 HERE <--click! - check it out & play along with us... you don't have to use PWCO images to play... but you DO get a double entry if you do use them! Also, to qualify to win, you have to play along with at least two of our challenges... which shouldn't be too hard, since you've got all month to do so! :)
Anyway, 'nuff rambling. I'm hungry again.... pizza pretzels, anyone?!
Laters,
Steph

PWCO Super Sketch #100!
Oh, hello there! Hello? Is there anyone still here? Poor neglected blog of mine, it's been 4 weeks since I've updated you! And why is that? Well, a huge part of it is how I currently have no mojo at all... and that is largely in part to first trimester of pregnancy woes! (Yay for "morning sickness", that doesn't feel the need to restrain itself to "morning"! lol) I'm 12 weeks along now, though... so hopefully that means all this feeling crappy is on it's way out the door!!
On a crafty note, we've reached the 100th sketch over at PWCO today! Here's my sample:
So.... yeah, not my best work, that's for sure. I did, however, really like how the Gold Lame Smooch turned out on the 'moon' behind the owl. And yes, I realize there's some major celestial issues happening here - namely, the whole "two moon" thing... but we'll just ignore that, shall we? The wee bats in the "Happy Owl-o-ween" image are covered in Black Diamond Stickles, so it's one very glitzy image. The paper is from the Matilda stack by Cosmo Cricket, and the other bats are Fiskars/Heidi Grace (I think) stickers that I found on clearance somewhere, like, 3 years ago.
Anyway, you better head over to the PWCO Blog and check out THIS POST - if you play along with the sketch, you've got a shot at winning a Bling Prize Pack; if you use your PWCO Stamps, you've got double the chances! (And our regular challenge rules apply, too; play along with any two PWCO challenges during the month of September, and you'll be entered to win YOUR CHOICE of 2 PWCO Stamps OR this month's PaperCard Kit, featuring Authentique's Journey line!!!)
See you there!
Steph

Super Sketch Wednesday - #96!
Wow, seems like the only day I post anymore is Sketch Wednesday at PWCO - sorry about that, but the summer's been crazy, and my mojo's been zapped! I've made a couple things in between the sketch cards... but I just haven't felt like blogging! (That just means more for you to look foreward to in the fall! lol)
Anyway, here's my card:
As always, I've left it sentiment-less, so that when I need to use the card, I can add the appropriate sentiment at the time!
I hope you head over to the PWCO blog & check out the challenges this month. If you use your PWCO stamps, and play along with at least 2 of our challenges during the month, you'll be entered to win your choice of two pwco stamps or the current month's papercard kit - you can't really beat that - especially considering how you've got ALL MONTH to play along!

PWCO SS#93!
It's Super Sketch Wednesday over at PWCO again!
Here's my take on it:
I used an old PWCO PaperCard Kit, that featured the "Lil Robots" line by My Mind's Eye, and Buckley Tinheart... seriously, between the kits & the sketches, you can't ask for a quicker card! I added a bit of faux stitching around the base of the card, as well as to the image panel, and a couple of metallic Dew Drops, and taaaadaaaa.a.... we have a card!
I hope you stop by the PWCO Blog to check out all of this month's sketch & recipe challenges - if you use your PWCO stamps, and play along in at least 2 challenges, you are entered to win your choice of 2 (more) PWCO stamps OR the current month's PaperCard Kit (this month, BasicGrey's Out of Print is the featured line!)!!!!
Happy Hump Day!

PWCO Super Sketch #92!
It's sketch time at PWCO!
Here's my take on it this week:
I think it turned out pretty cute, considering the fact that I totally didn't realize it was Wednesday until about 10AM - you know, like when the PWCO posts always go live?! (In other words, I put this together from start to finish in about 30 minutes - even with help from Lily!) Thank everything for pre-cut card bases, and PWCO PaperCard Kits!! (This was an older kit, featuring the Sweet Summertime line from Echo Park.) The stamp I used was Up, Up & Away from the PWCO Cutie Patooties line... I definitely thought the image lent itself well to the basic layout of the sketch...what do you think?
Anyway, time to run... lots to do today! (Um, when isn't there? LOL)

PWCO SS#91!
Hello, hello!
It's sketch day over at PWCO - here's this week's sketch for you:
I absolutely took some liberties with this sketch - like how I made a 4.25 square card! The layer with the rounded corners is also much smaller on my card, and I opted for a PTI Double-Ended Banner diecut instead of the straight layer strip! Want to see? Of course you do!
I stamped Gordie the Giraffe in Aqua Mist ink, and added a PTI sentiment to turn this into a sweet little baby card. I think this is a good stash card that could easily be used for a baby boy, or in the case of a 'not-so-pink-and-frilly' baby girl!
Hope y'all are having a great week - make sure to pop over to PWCO & play along with our sketches or recipe challenges; not only do you have all month to play along, but if you play along with at least 2, you are entered to win 2 stamps of your choice, OR the current month's PaperCard Kit!

2Cute's Mermaid & Friends Meets Deconstructed Sketches!
Good Friday Morning, Friends!
It's workshop day over here today - some of the younger girls in town are coming over this afternoon to work on a couple of birthday cards! (I *might* be a little excited...lol) What are you all up to today?
I threw this card together late last night... I had already picked the papers and coloured the image, but then the girls & I decided to go for an adventure before I could finish the card. After the turkeys were in bed, I pulled out the Deconstructed Sketch #11, and the card went together in under 5 minutes! (Gotta love it when that happens!!)
These papers from Basic Grey's Green At Heart line reminded me of seaweed and possibly a little sea garden, so I ran with it... why not, right? :0)
Anyway, here's my card:
As I usually do, I've left the banner blank, waiting for the perfect sentiment when the time comes! I find it much easier to actually use my cards after they're made if I do that, because then they'll always say the 'right' thing!
Have a great day - and don't forget, there's a NEW Rachelle Anne Miller release happening at PWCO tomorrow!!!!

PWCO SS#90!
It's sketch time at PaperWorks Co again! You can see the sketch here! <--Click!
Here's my take on it:
A little bit of Echo Park's Sweet Summertime paper, a couple of buttons, half a leftover PTI die-cut & a little PTI sentiment and PWCO's Zoe the Swimmer = simple, cute & fun!
Zoe was coloured using Copics (stunner..lol) and, even though you can't tell in the photo, I added Glossy Accents to her floaties, goggles, snorkel & flippers. That stripe-y paper totally reminded me of a beach towel!
So how is your day going, anyway? If you've got some free time (between now and July 31), make sure to head over to the PWCO Blog & check out the challenges - if you enter at least two of them by the end of the month, and use PWCO Stamps (or even the FREE DIGI), you'll be entered to win your choice of TWO PWCO RUBBER STAMPS OR July's PaperCard Kit! You can't really go wrong with that, now can you?!
That's it from me today... have yourself a great one!

Year-End Teacher & Classmate Gifts!
Hey there!
I'm finally getting around to posting the gifts I made for Emily's teachers/school staff & classmates at the end of this school year... so here goes!
I made these notecard sets for the female teachers/staff - 8 sets of 4 cards, to be exact! Each set contained two teal and two pink cards, since I really have no idea who likes what...and that way, I figured I had all the bases covered! (lol)
I broke out some gorgeous Linen textured cardstock for the bases, which really added a nice, subtle touch of interest.... and then I packaged them up like so in some clear card boxes!
For the male teachers (who both happen to be Phys. Ed. teachers), I packaged up some Hershey's Nuggets in a little kraft bag, and embellished with a basketball theme - definitely quick & easy!
And finally, the froggy bookmarks I made for Em's classmates - they're super fun, since they're magnetic!
And taaa-daaa... school gifts were done for this year!

PWCO SS#89
Just a quickie post today - it's Sketch Time over at PWCO again, and here's my take on it this week:
I broke out the Matilda paper pad again; I'm sort of in love with using it for non-Halloween cards for some reason. I paper-pieced Lucas the Lion, punched a 2" circle, added some star embellies that were coloured with a Copic to match, and die cut a Double-Ended Banner, then stamped with the Safari Friends Sentiment set. Taaaa-Daa. Done.
Make sure you play along with us over at PWCO for your shot at winning your choice of this month's PaperCard Kit OR 2 PWCO Rubber Stamps!
Laters,
Steph

2Cute's New Challenge - "Bling It Up!"
Right... so you read the challenge? "Bling It Up"... totally my specialty! Better get some shades on before you scroll down, though... 'cause this baby is BLINGIN'!
I found this really great glitter paper in Michael's (their Recollections brand) - and I absolutely love it! It's quite a bit thinner than the DCWV or DoodleBug glitter papers, which make it a dream to cut (without dulling the crap out of your cutter blades!) - and I picked a few packages up for about $2.75 each; I imagine that'll be substantially cheaper for my American friends, too!
Anyway, I used that, as well as some glitter brads, and this awesome bling trim (that started out life clear - and that came from the Dollar Store!) - and there's some Stickles on the cherry & the penguin's collar, too! That delicious pleated ribbon is something I picked up at my LSS back in April - I really didn't have a choice, as it practically jumped off the shelf begging me to take it home with me; this is the first time I've used it - and I didn't even cry when I cut into it! (LOL!) And the funky black layer under that? Oh, that's just a little shelf liner! I had cut a bunch of it to size for it's intended purpose, and had a bunch of these scraps left over that I thought would look really great on a card.... turns out, I was right! (lol!)
Now... head on over to the 2Cute Rubber Stamps Blog, and play along by linking up your new super blingy creation! (Sometimes the challenge posts don't go up when they should; Blogger seems to hate the 2Cute Posts... so you may have to check back a little later!)
Later gators!

PSA Essentials Meets Helmar Adhesives Meets Moxie Fab World!
(How's that for a super long title?!)
Hi Friends!
I'm being a rebel here - just pretend you aren't seeing this card until next week sometime on the PSA Stamp Camp blog, ok?! (I had to get it up here in time to enter it in Moxie Fab World's Stamp It! Cards challenge!)
It's super simple, mostly because that 'gator seriously gives me the giggles, and I really wanted to focus on him... and the 'punny' sentiment! (And because it's already a goofy card, I figured I better add a googlie eye to the focal gator!)
Pretty sure you've got until Sunday, July 10 to enter Cath's challenge... Looks like I don't need to be a rebel after all; you've got until Wednesday, July 13 to enter Cath's challenge... be sure to head over to the Moxie Fab World & check it out!
Laters,
Steph!
Supplies:
PTI Vintage Cream Cardstock
PTI Ripe Avocado Ink
PSA Essentials 'Rocket' Stamp Set; Studio G Alpha Set
Helmar Adhesives 1/4" White Zap-Dots; Premium Craft Glue
Googlie Eye

TGF'S WOW Sketch #7!
Hiya!
How's everyone doing tonight? I just wanted to pop in here & enter this card in The Greeting Farm's WOW Challenge - this week, it's Sketch #7, and I think this is definitely going to be a go-to sketch for me in the future (particularly for male cards)!
I made this for my husband's nephew who just turned 4... Oliver resembles our Ty a lot, so this was perfect for his birthday card!
I used BasicGrey's Origins pad & PTI's Kraft cardstock. The image is coloured up with Copics & popped up for some extra dimension.... and then I added a trio of (super old) Rain Dots from my stash... and a sentiment from PTI's Fillable Frames Additions set. Taaa Daaa... called 'er done! I really loved how this sketch had so many layers that gave the card interest, without it being too 'frilly'... I thought all the squares were pretty 'manly'!
Anyway, hope y'all have a good night; we've got a sleep-over happening tonight, so I have to go remind a pair of 6-year-old girls that when the 2-year-old goes to bed, the music needs to be turned down!

PaperWorks Co - Sketch #88 - and a FREEBIE!
Hey y'all!
It's sketch time over at PWCO - and today is an exciting day! Not only is there a DIGI FREEBIE available for you to download, but there's also a pretty major hint at what the theme is for the images being released this month!!
Here's the sketch:
...and here's my take on it:
I opted to really simplify my card, in order to showcase this exquisite FREE frame digi image, designed by our bossy boss herself! You can pick yours up on the PWCO Blog today!
I added the inner rectangle frame with Corel PaintShop Pro, to mimick the layers in the sketch, then stamped 'love' and added 2 wooden hearts from my stash. I pierced two tiny holes for the twine to slip through, and just wrapped it completely around the card. This is probably one of the quickest cards I've ever created!
Have you guessed what the theme is for the upcoming Rachelle Anne Miller release at the end of this month yet?!
Happy guessing!

PWCO SS#87!
Hi friends! Ooops- it looks like I totally forgot to post this here on Wednesday!
This is PWCO's latest sketch - and you've got until July 31st to play along! In order to be eligible to win a prize (your choice of 2 PWCO Stamps OR July's PaperCard Kit), you need to play along with a minimum of 2 PWCO challenges per month - so you could do 2 sketches, 2 recipe challenges, or one of each even - AND you've got ALL MONTH to play along! No excuses now... head over to the PWCO Blog and get inspired!
Here's my take on the sketch:
It's a super quickie, but I'm sort of in love with the simplicity of it! That patterned paper is fun, too, because all the black stripes have a clear glaze on them - so it's a textural delight! (Totally reminds me of Glossy Accents, but it's part of the paper!) I used PWCO's "Zoie the Zebra", who is absolutely my favourite stamp to use on a quickie card - this was quite literally a 5 minute card, since Zoie was already stamped & coloured and sitting on my desk ready and waiting!
Make sure you head over to the PWCO Blog to check out the challenges that will be issued this month - and the inspiration from the PWCO Team - there's always something wild going on!

PWCO SS#86!
Hey everyone!
It's Super Sketch time at PWCO - here's my take on it:
I'm totally blaming the fact that it's done nothing but rain for the last few weeks for why my pictures have been so crappy...Just smile & nod, and pretend they're good, ok?! (Either that, or send some flippin' sunny days my way!)
No excuses for not playing along with our sketches, BTW - you've got until the end of the month to do so!!
Laters,
Steph

2Cute Rubber Stamps + CPS#223
Hiya!
I made this card to play along with CPS #223:
I love these little stingrays! The colour scheme was totally out of my comfort zone; it was directly influenced by the SEI paper pad I was using & it was refreshing to make something using colours I wouldn't normally turn to!
Have a great day - and remember, it's PWCO sketch time again tomorrow!
Laters,
Steph
