2Cute's Mermaid & Friends Meets Deconstructed Sketches!

Good Friday Morning, Friends!

It's workshop day over here today - some of the younger girls in town are coming over this afternoon to work on a couple of birthday cards!  (I *might* be a little  What are you all up to today?

I threw this card together late last night... I had already picked the papers and coloured the image, but then the girls & I decided to go for an adventure before I could finish the card.  After the turkeys were in bed, I pulled out the Deconstructed Sketch #11, and the card went together in under 5 minutes!  (Gotta love it when that happens!!)

These papers from Basic Grey's Green At Heart line reminded me of seaweed and possibly a little sea garden, so I ran with it... why not, right?  :0)

Anyway, here's my card:
As I usually do, I've left the banner blank, waiting for the perfect sentiment when the time comes!  I find it much easier to actually use my cards after they're made if I do that, because then they'll always say the 'right' thing!

Have a great day - and don't forget, there's a NEW Rachelle Anne Miller release happening at PWCO tomorrow!!!!

  1. Ok, So who's the smart one leaving the banner blank! Love the way you colored her.

  2. This is just adorable! I really love the papers you put together and the white borders make everything pop! Thanks so much for using this week's Deconstructed Sketch!

  3. Heheehee! Great minds think alike! I used a 2cute image AND the same sketch too for today's post :) :) :). Lovely card!! Your coloring is amazing and I adore the papers!
