Apparently I am making 9 seperate posts. Crap.

PTI 3rd Anniversary Celebration - Day 2 (2)

Part 2...
Project 6:
My favorite. Turquoise & hot pink. Glitter paper. Stickles on letters...Glossy Accents on candle.
Project 7:
My second fave. Turquoise & purple. Shiny clear-ish buttons. Rainbow embossing powder. (Tiffany Pastor's freebie text on punched flowers.)
Project 8:

Meh...blue & silver. Niki Estes' freebie, minus the present. Robots...with googly eyes...no idea where that plan came from.

Project 9:

Pink & brown. Not feelin' it.

PTI 3rd Anniversary Celebration - Day 2 (1)

Whew....I did it. All 9 images were used, hence all the different photos. Check out the deets here. I'm not sure if we're supposed to make 9 seperate blog posts, but since it's a random drawing & I'm 99% sure I won't win anyway, I'm only making 2 posts (only because I have to; Blogger won't post more than 5 pics at a time).
Project 1:

Simple; yellow. Glossy accents on the candle.

Project 2:

Black & pink. Aperture card; sentiment on inside.

Project 3:

Turquoise & yellow. Made my own DP. Spica pens on flame, icing & polkies.

Project 4:

Not really liking this one. Blue...made my own DP...Buttons are shiny!

Project 4:

Love this one! Clouds, sun & balloon are popped up. Liquid applique on clouds, Glossy Accents on balloon & house window, Stickles on sun.

They all look better IRL - the sun's gone down, so the pics suck (more than usual).

CRAYONS!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah.... I was busy. I have a GARGANTUAN bucket of Crayolas that are all virtually brand new... because I have 'New-pack-of-crayons-if-we're-leaving-the-house-itis' - and when you can buy the 24 packs for $0.25 each at Back-to-School time, I go a little crazy stocking up for the year(s) ahead....which means every box that comes home missing a crayon or two gets dumped in The Bucket.

So, thanks to the brilliance of Tinla at PWCO, I decided that little heart shaped crayons will be part of Emily's Valentines this year - along with mini activity books - I'll post them later.

Hopefully no one does the Skittles - you know, 'Taste the rainbow'!

It's February...

And that means I'm the Monthly Pin-up for Bombshell Stamps!

My challenge for this month is to get
Wet & Wild!!!!
My sample:
(using the Mermaid Treasure set)

It's built like a tank; it's about 1/4 inch thick, and the mermaid & treasure chest are both popped up. The fish & seaweed were heat embossed with holographic powder... and the front cover looks like wet glass...

Everything was stamped on a shimmery sapphire blue paper...

And the sea floor is a 1/2 inch wide strip of red-lined tape, covered in microbeads & crystal fine glitter... there are some pearls added to the treasure... and to the mermaid's flower...

There's a funky key from my stash to unlock the treasure chest...

And although you can't see it, there's lots of extra sparkle thanks to the Spica pens used to accent her tail.

Let's see what you can come up with - enter it on the Forum {HERE} and get yourself an entry into the draw for this month's prize package!

Later,

Steph!

Bombshell Notebook

Holy Bombshell, Batman!

Obviously, I've been on a Bombshell roll - gearing up for my stint as Ms. February! This is just a composition notebook that I altered in about 10 minutes. The cover was already the B&W checkerboard print, and I already had most of the image panel done from an impromptu class I taught to my sister-in-law & her friends back in...October? Anyway, all I did was add the bottom shimmery aqua mat, and the 'Bombshell' tag, and then slap it on the cover of the book.

Ta-daaaa! Easy.

TGF CHA Relay - Day 4

Yeah, so I know it's over due to technical difficulties - thanks, btw, to all who were helping while Marie & Jess were away - but... I'm slipping in a last-minute card with Prince Ian... because I can! (HA! So there!)

You can still get Prince Ian HERE free...enjoy.

What the Girls Have Been Up To...

There have been some busy girls in my house....
This card was made for Grandma Suzy's birthday (Grandma Suzy used to be a SCUBA instructor & shop owner, hence Ariel).... Another Emily-on-her-own creation, except for where mommy helped with the heat embossing of the image panel.
Emily made this one for her friend Georgia's birthday, using PaperWorks Co Aqua Amigos set - except they are now the Aqua AmigAs... thanks to the shiny stars in their 'hair'. The photograph was also taken by the artiste herself.

This would be a bouncing Lily... I tell ya, that Baby Einstein jumper was sure a good investment!

Annnnndddddd....there's a Fudgee-O monster in this house (besides me!) - Lily was quite enjoying her half of the chocolate cookie - and then I disappeared for 3 hours over to the neighbour's house (unintentionally - I went to pick Emily up) and left poor Scotty with the mess below to clean up!

Ahhhhhh, happy girls!

Bombshell's January Hump Day Hop!

Hey all,
We at Bombshell have decided to quit the weekly DT-Only Hump Day Hops.... but not to worry - we've switched to a monthly-everyone-welcome Hump Day Hop instead! (YAY!)

Check out the info here.

Anyway, my Alter-native Medicine project is this plastic intended-to-be-photo-storage case, which not only received a little Bombshell love, but also is now doubling as a gift package. (And now, Mr. Roboto by Styx is playing in my mind....'secret, secret, I've got a secret....')

That's it from me, Ladies & Gents...now go check out what the other Bombshells have done!
